Here are some events you should know about in our area!
The Dunedin Seafood Fest is yet another great foodie event on our coast. We have a lot of seafood festivals here, being on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico. That’s just plain good for everyone. Be sure to check this one out. If there’s one thing you can be sure of, it’s that Dunedin knows how to put on an event. Happening March 24 – 25, 2017. Free.
Tarpon Springs Night in the Islands is back! If you know what Night in the Islands is, you’ll be excited too. This community-style event closes off the main, waterfront street through Tarpon Springs for Greek style dancing, music, and food. Walk the waterfront, get great food, and dance the night away. Happening March 25, 2017. Free.
The Dunedin Highland Games is a prime event for us in this area. This Scottish themed event has loads of spectator opportunities for the Scottish style sporting events. If you like bagpipes, curling, and men in kilts, this is the event for you. Happening Saturday, April 1, 2017. Tickets $18.
Safety Harbor SongFest returns for its fourth year. Safety Harbor occupies a beautiful section of shoreline along Tampa Bay. The waterfront is transformed for this musical event. Try craft beers and lots of carnival style foods. Enjoy Safety Harbor’s eclectic streets while you are at this event. Happening Apr 1 – 2, 2017. No cover charge indicated.
Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks Arts & Crafts Show sees the streets of Tarpon Springs shut down in the broad light of day. Vendors with intriguing goods line the entire street while unique gift shops are open for even more browsing. Happening Apr 1 – 2, 2017. Free.
