The best time of the year to visit Florida is in the Fall. This is when the weather is really the best. You can enjoy the beautiful, sunny days and warm gulf waters without the blistering heat. It is the best time to enjoy the deep sea fishing, dinners on the balcony and lazy days on the sand. The beaches are much quieter this time of year. The kids have gone back to school and the big family vacations have wound down and we get a few Europeans vacationing. All the restaurants, marina and beach activities and is still in full swing but the waits are gone.

If it is a budget vacation you are looking for, you should know the low rates of the year are mid-August to mid-October right after the kids have gone back to school. But the lowest rates are the days that fall between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Between holidays everyone is gearing up for Christmas and worrying about what they are going to get little Billy and Sally for gifts. You will see the rates for these weeks fall well below half of what they are for Spring Break.
